Professional Training Provided at Mako Soccer Club
Purpose
To raise the level of technical ability for each player enrolled in the Mako Soccer Club’s Competitive/Select Program. We believe that systems and tactics can only be as effective as the individual players in it.
Implementation of a program that focuses on individual skill development is the most effective way to motivate individual players and improve team play.
Process
The Mako Soccer Club employs highly licensed professional trainers and/or professional trainers with equivalent coaching and playing experience to run 90-minute training sessions with different competitive teams on a rotating basis.
Each training session will take place during normal practice hours. Our objective is for a professional trainer to run (at least) every third or fourth practice for each one of our teams.
Payoff
Successful implementation of this program will develop skilled, confident and creative players. The practice environment will be fun and energetic. By virtue of working side by side with our Professional Training staff; each Competitive Coach will enjoy an increase in their own competency and gain an even better understanding of “The Beautiful Game”.
